But all I want to do is read. I figure many of you feel the same.
So it's time for a semi-annual survey: what are you reading? and what books should I have on my list? what books should I give away as Christmas presents?
I'll start. This is a combination of what's waiting in my TBR and what I just finished ... pretty much guaranteed to all be excellent:
- Michael Connelly (I read/re-read all of the Bosch series, the couple of Walling/McEvoy, and now I'm moving on to Mickey Haller).
- Catriona McPherson's new Dandy Gilver book, A Deadly Measure of Brimstone.
- Tina Whittle's new Tai and Trey mystery, Deeper Than the Grave
- Jeff Siger's new Inspector Kaldis novel, Sons of Sparta.
What are you excited about reading? What did you just read that you loved?
The 3 Kate Reilly books of course and anxiously awaiting book # 4. Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life by Amy Krouse Rosenthal - laughed out loud and said "hey me too" to a lot of entries; then bought Encyclopedia of Me, my life from A to Z (guided journal) that I'll start on January 1; the FabYOUList by Susan Campbell Cross, and I've started my own list, and Somewhere Safe with Somebody Good by Jan Karon, the latest in the Mitford Series. Happy Holidays to all!
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading about Kate! (I'm working on #4, I promise.) And thanks so much for the suggestions--I'm going to go check them out!
